We’re often described as “no hot house” and as a place where “there’s no ‘type’ of Oundelian.” That’s not spin. It’s how families talk about us.
We’re a full-boarding school of over 1100 pupils – with day pupils who are equally immersed in every part of School life. Rooted in a thriving market town, Oundle fosters a strong sense of community and groundedness. Pupils walk through town to chapel, lessons and on their way to and from Houses. They pop into local shops and cafes after school or at the weekend and volunteer in nurseries, schools, charity shops and the community park as part of our Community Action programme. They are part of the town, not apart from it.
